Why there are no birds
I had often wondered why that bird house was always empty. One day I looked out the window and saw this....Scooter and Punkinhead, caught, red handed.

I live in an old (VERY OLD) farm house on a family farm in Indiana. I have been slowly trying to restore it. Well, that's not the word I want to use...more like make it livable. It has been one interesting and trying experience. I moved out to the country for a peaceful, quiet life, but discovered that it isn't easier than the city life, just a different set of problems. Sometimes you will see a short story or a poem, or just daily activities on this site, nothing complicated. After all this IS the simple life.
