Where I found out life isn't so simple
I baked a pie today to take into work. It was a coworker's anniversary and instead of cake, we enjoyed pie and take out. I sent a photo to a friend of mine that has been wanting pie for months. Her reply: "That is just cruel." I just couldn't help teasing my friend. She knows that when she comes to visit she can have a pie a day if she wishes. I have a feeling I will be a baking fiend.

I live in an old (VERY OLD) farm house on a family farm in Indiana. I have been slowly trying to restore it. Well, that's not the word I want to use...more like make it livable. It has been one interesting and trying experience. I moved out to the country for a peaceful, quiet life, but discovered that it isn't easier than the city life, just a different set of problems. Sometimes you will see a short story or a poem, or just daily activities on this site, nothing complicated. After all this IS the simple life.

That pie looks like it is right out of a cook book...does drooling on your key board short out your computer? Excuse me...I need a towel.
