- Location: corn country, midwest
I live in an old (VERY OLD) farm house on a family farm in Indiana. I have been slowly trying to restore it. Well, that's not the word I want to use...more like make it livable. It has been one interesting and trying experience. I moved out to the country for a peaceful, quiet life, but discovered that it isn't easier than the city life, just a different set of problems. Sometimes you will see a short story or a poem, or just daily activities on this site, nothing complicated. After all this IS the simple life.

Okay, so is it pink or peach? I can't tell, my monitor is crap.

Thank you. It is hard to see, I have a camera that doesn't take the greatest indoor pictures. It is called Quiet Refuge, and it's the color of hot chocolate, or chocolate milk. It has a just a little pink tinge to it. The bedspread is really a champange color, not orange..lol
