Where I found out life isn't so simple
There were only about twenty of us for dinner. We have so much food, it is sinful.

I live in an old (VERY OLD) farm house on a family farm in Indiana. I have been slowly trying to restore it. Well, that's not the word I want to use...more like make it livable. It has been one interesting and trying experience. I moved out to the country for a peaceful, quiet life, but discovered that it isn't easier than the city life, just a different set of problems. Sometimes you will see a short story or a poem, or just daily activities on this site, nothing complicated. After all this IS the simple life.

What is that in the big bowl? It looks like something chocolate and a lot of whipped cream.. which.. puts it rated as yummy in my book.. it just looks interesting..
It is a yummy concoction that my sister-in-law makes. It has chocolate cake crumbled up, whipped cream, nuts, and smashed up heath bars. And it is scrumptious.

You had more desserts, I think, than we did...then again, you had four more people!! Ha!
Went shopping with Mom to get her going on Xmas. It is a chore as no one needs a darn thing. I say forget gifts and bet we will forget alot after Mom is no longer with us.
