Where I found out life isn't so simple
Some friends and relatives have been asking why I haven't been posting lately. I have been spending most of my time with my dog, Lucy. She is dying, and I have been by her side as much as possible. I just haven't been in the mood to do any writing. Over and out.

I live in an old (VERY OLD) farm house on a family farm in Indiana. I have been slowly trying to restore it. Well, that's not the word I want to use...more like make it livable. It has been one interesting and trying experience. I moved out to the country for a peaceful, quiet life, but discovered that it isn't easier than the city life, just a different set of problems. Sometimes you will see a short story or a poem, or just daily activities on this site, nothing complicated. After all this IS the simple life.

I am so very sorry to read about your dog this helped me when we lost ours a few months back.......
It is called "The Rainbow Bridge" It is somewhat of a long poem Im sure you could find it online the aurthor is unknown........Good luck with your 4 legged child & best of luck to you
