I heard an ad on the radio advertising Amish chickens. I wonder if they wear those little white bonnets. And do the Amish roosters wear little straw hats and suspenders?

I live in an old (VERY OLD) farm house on a family farm in Indiana. I have been slowly trying to restore it. Well, that's not the word I want to use...more like make it livable. It has been one interesting and trying experience. I moved out to the country for a peaceful, quiet life, but discovered that it isn't easier than the city life, just a different set of problems. Sometimes you will see a short story or a poem, or just daily activities on this site, nothing complicated. After all this IS the simple life.

How you doing?
The tests are some of the hardest things I have had to do in a long time. It has been a trying and frustrating week. It is either make jokes or snap. I'm closer to snapping.
