What's Wrong With This Picture?
On the local evening news tonight they were announcing that the homeless shelters for women and children were full. There was still room for men at one shelter, they said. They went on to say log on to their web site after the broadcast to get a phone number so that you can be placed on a waiting list for a shelter.
I don't know about other areas, but I am willing to bet that homeless women here won't be whipping out their lap top from their cart full of belongings to log on to a web site, and I'm also willing to bet they don't have a television in the cart either to see the news report.

You hit the nail on the head....not too many are seeing the BIG picture.
No they probably dont see it nor have a laptop.. but case managers do..they might be the ones to get the number and put it out where the homeless can get it.. Just a thought..
